ABOUT ME
Hi, thanks for visiting my website! My name is Dr. Krissy Jones, and I’m a wife, mother of three, and a serial, award-winning entrepreneur with a deep passion for philanthropy. Over the years, I have founded and led successful ventures across retail, finance, and media, including a retail company that generated over $11 million in annual revenue, a regulated international forex broker, and a licensed cryptocurrency exchange, all of which I have successfully exited. Today, my focus is on philanthropy, business consultancy, writing, and managing my asset management firm, which oversees over $500 million in assets. As a business consultant I assist companies in all stages including start ups and exits. I assist companies seeking to raise capital with over $1bn secured to date!
My career began in the care sector, where I became the youngest-ever CQC registered care home manager at 21. I later transitioned into education, working as a lecturer in higher education before launching two successful training companies. One of these, which I founded with just $2,000, grew to a valuation of $11 million in under two years, employing over 50 people and earning a place on the Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For list.
After years in business, I developed an interest in investing, leading me to explore asset management and financial markets. While I have experience in fx trading, commodities, stocks, and cryptocurrencies, my work today is more focused on strategic investing and philanthropy, leveraging financial success to drive meaningful social change. I remain active in finance through research and writing, contributing to The Forex Library, where I author articles on market trends, AI in trading, and economic strategy.
Philanthropy is at the heart of everything I do. I founded The Trilogy Trust Foundation, DBA Bright Steps Project after experiencing hardship myself, with the mission to prevent homelessness and support families in crisis. The foundation operates on a self-sustaining model, using funds from my asset management company and private donations to provide financial aid, housing support, and mentorship. We focus on early intervention, helping families before they reach the point of eviction. In addition, we offer grants to individuals affected by disasters, illness, and job loss and provide volunteer training to support those in distress.
I also serve on the board of two non-profits and previously mentored young entrepreneurs through The Prince’s Trust in the UK. My goal is to bridge finance and philanthropy, using my business experience to create lasting social impact. Outside of work, I enjoy fashion, fitness, and socializing. I live in Beverly Hills with my husband, three children, and Taffy, our dog.

JLM Investments Ltd– I co-founded a private asset management firm alongside 2 other experienced investors, operating a fully regulated Tier 1 trade desk in partnership with one of the world’s leading banks. With over $500m AUM (assets under management), our closed investment entity actively engages in trading across primary and secondary markets, including equities, regular and exotic bonds, precious metals, commodities, fresh cut notes, MTN’s, SBLC’s and other financial instruments. I use my share of the profits to help fund my philanthropic endeavors.
Author- I am a published researcher exploring various topics across finance, philanthropy, and business innovation. My work examines strategies for sustainable growth, market dynamics, and the intersection of technology and economic development. I contribute as an author for The Forex Library, a premier forex news and education platform that I co-founded, where my articles provide real-time market coverage, breaking news, and in-depth analysis for traders. Additionally, my work has been published by Forbes where I share insights on leadership, management and entrepreneurship.
Business Consultancy- I provide strategic business consultancy services focused on growth, structure, and long-term value creation. My work includes business planning, leadership and management support, operational setup, and scaling strategies tailored to each client’s objectives. I also support companies in preparing for capital raising by helping them become investment-ready and facilitating introductions where appropriate. In addition, I advise business owners on exit planning and acquisition strategies, helping them navigate transitions, optimize value, and achieve successful outcomes. I also act as a board member or chair as needed.
Retail- I started a luxury furniture retailer with just $60k. The company sells unique, high quality furniture with Italian, British and French influences as well as interior design services. Despite the difficulties of Covid, the company turned over $11m after just 2 years.
Legacy Projects
Crypto Exchange- I founded and built a fully licensed and regulated cryptocurrency exchange, providing retail and commercial clients with a seamless platform to buy, sell, exchange, and swap digital assets. After establishing it as a trusted player in the market, I successfully exited by selling the company to a leading FX broker.
Forex Broker- I founded and built a globally operating, regulated forex brokerage, offering retail and commercial clients access to forex trading across international markets. The company was licensed as a Money Service Business (MSB) in the U.S. and Canada, allowing it to operate across various financial sectors. After establishing its reputation and reach, I successfully exited by selling it to a consortium of FX traders.
PHILANTHROPY
Bright Steps Project– I founded this 501(3)(c) non profit after experiencing severe hardship myself, with the mission of preventing homelessness and supporting individuals facing financial crises. Through my asset management company and other entrepreneurial endeavors, we allocate funds to sustain the foundation, alongside private donations, ensuring long-term impact. Our core focus is early intervention—helping families before they reach the point of eviction by providing financial aid, housing solutions, and advocacy. We also offer grants to individuals affected by disasters, illness, or job loss, helping them regain stability. Additionally, we train volunteers to support families in crisis, offering mentorship and guidance to prevent homelessness and create lasting change in their lives.
Funding Humanitarian Projects– My capital for humanitarian initiatives by strategically leveraging global bond markets and institutional investment channels to mobilize large-scale funding efficiently and transparently. Through the structuring and placement of investment-grade instruments and private market opportunities, the firm channels capital into high-impact projects spanning community development, critical infrastructure, and healthcare systems across Africa, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Europe. Its approach combines rigorous financial oversight with a strong social mandate, ensuring that funds are deployed into projects that deliver measurable economic and societal benefits—such as housing, clean water access, energy infrastructure, and medical facilities.
Family Adoption- Every Thanksgiving and Christmas, my family and I sponsor around 10-20 families across Los Angeles who are living in poverty or are unhoused whereby we purchase each family member gifts from their wish lists, which we wrap up and deliver to their homes along with another box of Christmas food as well as cash donations.
